Key Account Management (KAM) - Commercial Real Estate

The Senior Manager - KAM (Commercial Real Estate) is responsible for owning, expanding, and deepening relationships with strategic CRE developers and asset owners by driving long‑term account strategies and positioning Schneider Electric as a trusted partner for electrification, digital buildings, energy efficiency, and sustainability across the asset lifecycle.

The role focuses on large developer accounts and marquee commercial assets, ensuring strong account penetration, large project influence, and integrated One SE solution adoption across Power Systems, Digital Energy, Building Management Systems, Software, Sustainability, and Lifecycle Services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Account Ownership
  • Own a defined portfolio of strategic commercial real estate accounts (developers, institutional investors, asset owners, REITs).
  • Develop and execute multi‑year account strategies covering new developments, campus expansions, refurbishments, tenant upgrades, and asset digitization.
  • Build deep CXO‑level relationships with Promoters, CEOs, Asset Heads, Project Directors, Engineering & Facilities Leaders.
  • Position Schneider Electric as a long‑term lifecycle partner, not just a project supplier.
  1. Business Growth & Revenue Delivery
  • Drive order booking, pipeline creation, and conversion across projects, retrofits, and services.
  • Influence consultants, PMCs, architects, and EPCs to secure specified / preferred Schneider solutions.
  • Ensure early engagement from concept design tender execution, improving win ratios and solution depth.
  • Collaborate with National Sales and regional teams for consistent account coverage and execution excellence.

  • Orchestrate internal stakeholders across Power Systems, Digital Energy, Building Automation, Services, Sustainability, and Software.
  • Drive adoption of integrated CRE‑focused solutions such as:
    • Smart & resilient electrical infrastructure
    • Digital substations, smart panels, and power quality
    • BMS, EMS, and Integrated Command Centre solutions
    • Tenant energy analytics, ESG dashboards, and lifecycle services
  • Lead solution workshops, value engineering sessions, and executive‑level presentations with customers.
  1. Ecosystem & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with developers, REITs, institutional investors, consultants, PMCs, EPCs, and facility managers.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for account governance, escalation, and long‑term engagement.
  • Enable strong coordination with internal teams: Sales, Application Engineering, Offer Marketing, Services, Supply Chain, and Partners.
  1. Market & Segment Intelligence
  • Track CRE trends including green buildings, net‑zero targets, ESG compliance, energy intensity reduction, and tenant experience digitization.
  • Bring competitive intelligence and customer insights into strategy shaping and offer positioning.
  • Identify repeatable solutions, scalable architectures, and reference projects for the CRE segment.
  1. Governance & Reporting
  • Ensure strong BFO hygiene, accurate forecasting, and disciplined pipeline reviews.
  • Drive adherence to Schneider Electric sales processes, compliance, and risk governance.
  • Actively contribute to segment reviews, strategy discussions, and leadership forums.

Preferred
  • Background in electrical systems, digital energy, automation, or sustainability solutions
  • Experience working with large developers, REITs, or marquee commercial campuses
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle sales and multi‑stakeholder environments
