Jr. IT support specialist

What will you do:

Infrastructure support and maintenance

• Provide the support for critical infrastructure incidents, including performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• P roactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage.

Project Implementation and Upgrades

• Par ticipate in the design, planning, and implementation of new infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Co ordinate the migration, testing, and configuration of new infrastructure components.
• P articipate in projects as required.

Doc umentation and Process Management

• Cre ate and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure systems, configurations, and procedures.

Collaboration and Vendor Management

• C ollaborate with other global/region teams (e.g., network, security, application development) and business partners to ensure seamless operations and successful project delivery.
• Work with external vendors for infrastructure-related services and solutions.
• Collaborate with other IT groups and business partners as required, including regular interaction with external vendors.

Communication for End User Support

Profile and Professional Experience Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience working as an End user support / IT Infrastructure Specialist or similar role.
• D emonstrated experience with current IT infrastructure technologies
• S trong proficiency in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
• F amiliarity with monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure performance and health.
• T echnical proficiency with Cisco networking equipment and Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365)
• Hands-on field service and installation experience for infrastructure hardware.

Technical Skills / Personal Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good English and Korean language skills - written & spoken
• Business travel to local sites
• Project Coordination
• Ability to teach technical concepts / translate documentation
• Process-oriented with strong attention to detail in infrastructure configurations
• Flexible schedule, with availability for after-hours support as needed for infrastructure incidents
• Service Oriented, with a focus on delivering reliable infrastructure services
• Good communication skills with strong learning ability and desire to take ownership
