ITAM Sourcing & Asset Manager

As the ITAM Sourcing & Asset Manager for North America at Schneider Electric, you will own the commercial and financial lifecycle of IT assets with a specific focus on cellular/mobility, PC peripherals, IT accessories, network gear, printer/copier/scanner solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement strategy, vendor relationship management, catalog maintenance, and budget forecasting for these specific asset classes across the US, Canada, and Mexico/Central America.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Procurement Management: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for US, Canada, and Mexico, including issuing Purchase Orders (POs) through vendors like Insight, Migesa, and Lenovo.
- Mobility & Cellular Management: Oversee the lifecycle of cellular assets across North America (US, CAN, MX). This includes managing vendor relationships, handling invoicing, dispersions/chargeback to business as applicable, and processing non-standard requests for cellular devices.
- Lease & Contract Management (Non-PC): Manage leasing agreements and vendor contracts specifically for Network Gear and printer/copier(Canon)/scanner solutions ensuring compliance and renewal tracking. Support businesses operations and maintenance requirements for Non-PC such as printer/copier(Canon) contractor and supplies (paper/toner) requirements.
- Catalog & System Governance: Maintain and update IT asset catalogs (Catalog mngt/New Catalog) and manage Continuous Improvement (C.I.) within the COUPA procurement platform to ensure accurate item availability for end-users.
- Financial Forecasting & Chargebacks: Lead the ITAM forecast and budgeting process specifically for accessories and leasing fees. Manage the financial charge-back process for PC peripherals, IT accessories, network gear, printer/copier(Canon)/scanner solutions to ensure costs are allocated to the correct internal cost centers.
- Accessory Management: Oversee accessory requests and sourcing for North America, including the management of the "Insight" relationship for accessory fulfillment in the US and Canada, and Third-Party (TP) coordination in Mexico.
- Special Projects: Lead special sourcing projects and initiatives that drive cost optimization and process improvement within the IT asset space. Serve as or provide ITAM liaison to 'Head of IT Mexico' and synchronize fellow ITAM managers
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT sourcing, category management, or vendor management.
- Specific experience in Mobility/Cellular fleet management and Printer/Network leasing is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in procurement platforms (COUPA experience is a strong plus).
- Excellent financial acumen regarding forecasting, budgeting, and charge-back models.
- Ability to manage cross-border procurement teams and vendors (US, Canada, Mexico).
Additional Requirements:
- Vendor Relations: Proven ability to hold vendors (e.g., Insight, Lenovo, Cellular carriers) accountable to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Strategic Sourcing: Ability to analyze spending patterns to negotiate better terms for high-volume accessories and hardware.
- Process Improvement: Experience with catalog management and designing user-friendly procurement pathways for employees.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Hardware Operations Manager to ensure supply meets demand, and with the User Experience Manager to ensure catalog items meet user needs.
