The Role: IT Team Lead (Business Partnering, Operations, Service Delivery & Infrastructure)

Strategic Alignment & Planning

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into IT roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities where technology can create value, improve processes, or enhance customer experience.
  • Participate in annual planning cycles to shape IT strategic priorities.
  • Ensure that business strategy and Digital strategy remain in sync.


Demand Management
  • Act as the first point of contact for business IT needs.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and validate business requirements before passing them to IT delivery teams.
  • Maintain a demand pipeline and ensure clarity on scope, benefits, and urgency of requests.
  • Ensure smooth progression of business initiatives throughout their lifecycle.


Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and key users.
  • Communicate IT services, constraints, and timelines clearly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on IT matters.
  • Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.


Portfolio & Project Oversight
  • Oversee the business portfolio of IT projects, enhancements, and service improvements.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and changes from a business perspective.
  • Ensure expected benefits are delivered and properly measured.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication during project execution.


Service Delivery & Escalation Management
  • Ensure operational IT services meet agreed service levels for the assigned business area.
  • Support incident escalation and problem resolution when business-critical issues occur.
  • Monitor service performance metrics and work with IT operations to address service gaps.


IT Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure business adherence to IT policies, cybersecurity guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
  • Participate in change advisory boards (CAB) or governance meetings.
  • Support risk assessments and promote secure system usage within business units.


Team Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, coach, and mentor IT team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and a positive team culture


Digital Transformation & Innovation

  • Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 tools, automation solutions, data analytics, or other enterprise platforms.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in each of the following areas::
    • Experience in IT Infrastructure operations, networking and server administration
    • Knowledge of ITIL framework
    • Project management skills and experience leading IT projects
    • Data visualisation knowledge in Tableau and SQL is preferred but not a must
    • Understanding of Cloud technologies like AWS and Microsoft Azure is a plus
  • Strong teamwork interpersonal and communication skills with regional and global team
  • Good analytical skills, Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adjust to unforeseen challenges and think independently to continue toward goal resolution
  • Fluent in Business English
  • Innovation mindset
  • Maintain a positive, proactive attitude

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of operational processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Project management knowledge (e.g., Agile, PMO processes)
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and IT governance
  • Negotiation, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
  • Change management and influencing capabilities
