IT Product Owner
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $117,600 - $176,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are looking for a Product Owner who takes full ownership of moving high-value work from definition through delivery, providing leadership, decisive judgment, and strong partnership across business and technical teams.
What will you do:
- Own the definition, prioritization, and delivery of product capabilities for an assigned digital application or product area.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for product priorities, delivery coordination, and day-to-day follow-through within your scope.
- Partner with business stakeholders to influence roadmap direction and translate strategy into executable work.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and maintain alignment on priorities, scope, timing, and delivery decisions.
- Translate business needs, workflow gaps, and operational issues into clear requirements and actionable work.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, including engineers, developers, analysts, testers, and vendors, to move work from definition through delivery.
- Maintain a clear backlog and ensure work is sequenced based on business value, dependencies, and operational need.
- Drive tradeoff discussions when scope, sequencing, or solution direction requires a decision.
- Help define acceptance criteria, validation needs, and release readiness expectations.
- Support operational stability by helping triage issues, coordinate resolution, and monitor product performance.
- Work through ambiguous problem spaces with strong judgment, surfacing gaps, risks, and dependencies early.
- Use AI-enabled tools and modern productivity methods to accelerate synthesis, analysis, documentation, and preparation.
- Continuously improve product workflows, documentation, and ways of working to improve speed, clarity, and execution.
- Help improve the quality and consistency of product definition across the team.
What will make you successful:
- 3-5 years of experience in product ownership, application ownership, business analysis in a product environment, or a related digital delivery role.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound tradeoff recommendations.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams, vendors, or delivery partners.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and help define next steps with clarity and speed.
- Comfort supporting application delivery, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear roadmaps, requirements, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar, and a willingness to use them to improve speed and quality.
- Curiosity and discipline in using modern tools and methods to improve product execution.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery methods.
- Experience in enterprise software, workflow-heavy environments, or custom-built applications preferred.
