Mission

We are looking for an IT B usiness P artner (IT BP) who will be responsible for the service owner for local legacy applications and the site point of contact for supporting the core corporate teams on Group IT service and projects .

She/he will be responsible to enforc e group standards and will act as the business point of contact to ensure the IT service continuity and coverage of IT business needs. He will be responsible for defining, managing, and continuously improving processes , providing IT leadership with focus on operation s, service delivery as a business part ner and contributing to the adoption of Group solutions p rovid ing direction and guidance to enable solutions that meet the business needs. She/he will p romote the goal of a Schneider Digital culture to ensure standardization and simplification and communication between the various IT groups is achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a Group IT culture and ensure IT is viewed as a true business partner
  • Build strong relations with stakeholders to develop a high level of awareness for their support needs
  • Ensure efficient use of local IT resources and vendors and manage, review and develop their performance .
  • Deliver service excellence by promoting continuous improvement of corporate application services
  • Monitor and control activity progress against plans, requirements specifications or support requests taking corrective action as necessary
  • Be an initial point of escalation for incidents, keeping IT and Business stakeholders informed
  • Ensure performance meets or exceeds business expectations and is delivered in accordance with S ervice L evel A greement s & O perational L evel A greement s
  • Work with other IT teams to communicate service outages and changes to the business effectively
  • Promote and support adoption of Schneider Digital services and products in the Country to maximize consumption and efficiencies , to reduce tech debt and increase standardization and simplification of the IT landscape
  • B e the IT referent on supporting digital transformation programs .
  • Ensure IT policies and support processes are adhered to within the requirements of local and Group Internal Audit
  • Contribute towards projects and ensure smooth transition into the live environment
  • Identify risks that may cause a reduction in IT service quality and be proactive to ensure ownership and mitigation
  • Ensure strict compliance to Change Management and C hange validation processes
  • Support the production, maintenance and testing of IT and Business Continuity Plans


Skills and competencies:
  • Good understanding of how IT components support the business .
  • Experience in application support & operations environments with good understanding of application components and general understanding of infrastructure components like servers, network, communication protocols, clients and PC, printers.
  • Good understanding of risk management (identification, documentation and mitigation), with reference to the company infrastructure and applications landscape and their business impacts as a plus.
  • Communicate progress as appropriate.
  • Results-driven resource , organized and proactive.
  • Ability to analyze/ understand end-user perspective and how to support business
  • Capability to contribute strategically as well as tactically and operationally
  • Capacity to collaborate in a worldwide team with other functions/geographies
  • Ability to promote new kind of services and/or transformation program internally
  • Excellent communication & relational skills (technical & business teams)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
