Mission

  • Expertise and experience to manage business transaction-based compliance with regulatory Tax/customs/Commercial and trade/International and National transportation requirements,
  • To ensure the best service in terms of cost/lead time and operation.
  • Good relationship with Local Customs, Skilled knowledge of Logistics operation, Convince, Negotiation.
  • Strong leadership and coaching/support organization and IG/OG vendor.

What will you do:
  • Lead all customs brokerage operations, ensuring full compliance with national/international regulations, and strictly applying FTA rules to maximize duty-saving opportunities for Schneider and approved vendors
  • Develop end-to-end transportation processes (TT0-TT4), including mapping, SOPs, and workflow alignment with all stakeholders to ensure optimized lead time and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor supplier and service-provider performance, covering on-time delivery, cargo quality, special inspections, and elimination of non-value-added activities in the logistics chain
  • Maintain and control Customs & Tax master data, ensure compliance for trademarks/labeling, and keep the organization updated on regulatory changes to guarantee trade compliance
  • Collaborate with the Global Transportation Team and government authorities to select the best service providers and resolve operational issues related to Customs, FTA, and Tax.
  • Implement best-practice logistics standards and lead Customs & Trade compliance audits, managing risks related to valuation, HS classification, origin/FTA, duty exemption/drawback, and import controls.
  • Initiate and lead annual cost-saving and continuous-improvement projects, reducing non-value-added activities while ensuring compliance with export-control requirements.
  • Lead annual statutory tasks including Customs report, post-customs audit, SPS audit, health-check activities, and all SC/Logs-related compliance tasks.
  • Provide coaching and training on new Customs/FTA/Trade regulations for internal teams and suppliers to ensure organization-wide compliance.
  • Lead the Export Control program of the entity, ensuring compliant operations with no impact on customs processes, finance, or factory output.
  • Education: Degree in Logistics & Supply chain, foreign trade or comparable qualification.
  • Working Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the leading import and export compliance processes.
  • Business Understanding: Trade compliance /Trade regulations/international transportation/Customs regulation/ end-to-end supply chain process. Strong experience in industries of Automotive, Electronics would be a plus.
  • Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): SAP (PP), Microsoft office, English, Negotiation, Problem solving, commitment, Pro-active, organizational skills, Leadership skills.
