The Role:
You will join the Hub Asia transport team in SE . Hub Asia transport is responsible to ship via air and ocean to over 50 countries.
Key Responsibilities
There are several projects that the Hub Asian Transportation Intern can work on:
- Manage communication and performance review with both air , ocean , cross boarder trucking and local delivery service providers . Our intern can assist in service level review and driven improvement project with service providers
- Onboarding for new service providers and assist in SOP development
- Implementation of a Freight Management System and Freight Audit Payment for Singapore . This includes a freight booking system with forwarders and trucking company , document repository system, pre-alert system and end to end visibility system . The Freight Audit payment system is a match pay system where each outbound shipment freight costs is matched against a rate table for verification.
- Sustainability project and CO2 monitoring - implementation of several sustainability and CO2 projects for Hub Asia
- RPA projects to drive improvements in HA processe s
- Im proving last mile delivery processes
- Customer satisfaction and Transport lead time improvements for HA . Included end-to-end process review and leadtime measurement, propagated performance result with digital tool across the organization.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Technical Skills
- Able to provide insights on Data Visualization Dashboards such as Tableau
Education
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, or related disciplines (SCM, Business)
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing, supply chain and/or distribution and logistics are d esirable
Skills / Systems knowledge
- Good to have: Tableau, Power BI
- Must have MS office
