HRS Senior Specialist

Join our dynamic HR team and make a real impact! We're looking for an HRS Senior Specialist who's passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences through streamlined processes and innovative solutions.
What will you do:
- Handle end-to-end payroll functions, including calculations for overtime, commissions, allowances, and deductions.
- Ensure accurate calculation of taxes and deductions, and compliance with internal policies and legislation, help avoid legal issues and financial discrepancies.
- Administer employee benefits such as retirement funds, medical aid, and other related perks.
- Ensure correct deductions and contributions are applied to payroll.
- Provide support and consultation to Employees regarding payroll and benefit related items
- Prepare payroll related reports, on a regular or ad-hoc basis
- Triage employee enquiries via our ticketing system and build and update HR information available 24x7 based on subject matter's expertise
- Participate on HR digital tools implementation locally and regionally in partnership with global stakeholders and vendors
- Facilitate the Fleet Management Program with Standard Bank, including vehicle insurance
- Monthly reporting on pre-selected fleet criteria per Vehicle Driver, Business Unit and Global Framework
- Create Welcome pack and arrange for distribution / handover to new employees (Med / pens/GPA/Wellness)
- Manual paper forms checking (leave, movement, claims etc.)
- Administer Structure changes
- Benefits administration (Disabilities / claims)
- Administer Dependant changes
- Contract Management
- Equity employment reporting
What will make you successful:
- Experience with SAP and Oracle
- Strong technical proficiency in HRIS and digital HR tools
- Experience reviewing payroll for SADC countries
- Experience in benefits administration and compensation management
- Outstanding organizational and project management abilities
Qualifications:
- Completed university degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in payroll administration
- Proficiency in English
