We are looking for Head of Services Tendering to make an impact!

What will you do?

  • Leading and managing a team of Tendering Engineers
  • Lead and participate actively in winning small to large project sales
  • Develop and lead tender reviews and approvals
  • Convert 'cold' pipeline to 'warm' closures strategically; meet or exceed hit rates by developing a competitive value package successfully
  • Evaluate Tender Specification and develop customers' requests into a Schneider Electric's offer by proposing solutions that comply with the customers' requirements in the most cost-effective manner
  • Foster collaboration with other areas of our business to align pre-sales activities with broader company objectives and ensure overall success
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships and promoting a spirit of teamwork
  • Reviewing of contracts and legal terms with customers
  • Provide timely and professional submissions to enhance our competitiveness in the market
  • Be a single point of contact and accountability throughout the quotation during the RFQ
  • Support Sales team by participating in clarification.
  • Liaise with Internal Product Manager and/ or External Suppliers' for 3rd party products.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Technically strong knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical Distribution - consisting of Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Industrial Automation, BMS and UPS/Cooling for Data Centers
  • At least 5 years of relevant Proposal or Tendering/Inside Sales experience in LV, MV, Industrial Automation, BMS and UPS commercially. Data Centre experience will be a plus
  • Experience in Contracts and Legal reviewing
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Problem solving
  • Prior experience as People Manager or leading a team
  • Must be able to develop system architecture, generate BOM and prepare proposal for submission.
  • Experience in handling tenders across ASEAN regions will be an advantage
  • Prior experience in Tendering and/ or Project Management is preferred
