The Head of Sales, Digital Energy is responsible for leading and driving the growth of Schneider Electric's Digital Energy portfolio across key enterprise segments in Singapore. This role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, delivering sustainable business growth, and leading a high-performance sales team to capture opportunities in buildings, infrastructure, and key end-user verticals.

The role requires strong commercial leadership, deep understanding of the Digital Energy ecosystem, and the ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Define and execute the enterprise sales strategy aligned with country and regional Digital Energy priorities
  • Drive order and sales growth, with ownership of pipeline development, conversion, and margin performance
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities across key verticals (e.g., commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres, government)
  • Lead end-user engagement strategy, positioning Schneider Electric as a preferred partner for digital and sustainable solutions

Customer & Account Leadership
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key enterprise customers and stakeholders
  • Engage and influence C-level decision-makers, consultants, developers, and partners across the project lifecycle
  • Drive solution selling approach across Building Management Systems, Energy Management, and Digital Solutions
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account development

Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of enterprise sales managers
  • Set clear performance targets (orders, sales, pipeline quality, margin) and ensure disciplined execution
  • Build a strong sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Develop talent pipeline and succession within the team

Pipeline & Opportunity Management
  • Own end-to-end sales funnel management and governance
  • Ensure strong pipeline creation, qualification, and conversion
  • Drive pricing, margin optimization, and deal strategy on key opportunities
  • Partner with tendering and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Offer, Marketing, Tendering, and Delivery teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align on portfolio strategy and key pursuits
  • Drive "One Schneider" approach in complex opportunities, leveraging multiple business units

Market & Competitive Positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies
  • Identify white spaces and growth opportunities in the Digital Energy and smart infrastructure space
  • Contribute to country strategic planning (AMSP, annual plans) and go-to-market execution

  • Orders and Sales growth
  • Pipeline value and conversion rate
  • Gross margin / deal profitability
  • Key account penetration and customer satisfaction
  • Team performance and talent development

Qualifications & Experience

Experience
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial leadership
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales and key account management
  • Experience in Digital Energy, smart buildings, energy management, or related domains preferred
  • Strong exposure to end-user engagement and complex solution selling

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Strategic thinking combined with execution discipline

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent is advantageous
