The Role:

HIMEL is a global lighting and electrical solutions brand dedicated to delivering reliable, user-focused innovations for emerging markets. Join us as a Global Social Media and Digital MarCom Specialist for HIMEL. In this role, you will work closely with various teams in and outside China to develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.

What will you do?

  • Strategic Planning & Asset Creation
    • Lead Himel's global social media strategy by conceptualizing and integrating product launches, customer success stories, brand initiatives, and marketing campaigns into impactful digital narratives that strengthen brand positioning and audience engagement.
    • Develop content packages for global deployment, including digital articles, executive briefs, and event presentations, blogs and newsletters.


  • Content Calendar Planning & Execution
    • Develop and manage the global social media content calendar in collaboration with Marcom Business Partners, Offer Managers, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with central brand directives while driving timely content creation, localization, publishing, and campaign amplification across Himel's global platforms.


  • Executive Thought Leadership and PR support
    • Collaborate with central marketing team to draft and develop PR articles, executive communication pieces, and campaign-led content aligned with global Himel initiatives, product offerings, and strategic marketing campaigns.


  • Awards & Recognition Support
    • Support the central marketing team in identifying relevant industry awards, coordinating submissions, developing award entry content, and aligning recognition initiatives with Himel's global brand and business objectives.


  • Digital Marketing, Website & CRM Support
    • Support digital marketing initiatives through website content management, campaign landing page coordination, CRM campaign support, customer database management, marketing automation activities, and alignment of digital assets with global marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.


  • Performance Tracking & Analytics

  • Monitor social media performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, audience insights, and engagement trends to optimize content strategy and improve digital impact .


  • Brand Governance & Best Practices
    • Ensure all social media communications align with Himel's global branding guidelines, tone of voice, and communication standards across regions and platforms .


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Min Degree in Marketing or any other related discipline.
  • Min 3-5 years in relevant MarCom roles, Social Media (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) Management Experience.
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive in the demanding environment of a start-up organization
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player with positive attitude, adaptability to multicultural team
  • Experience with LeadSquared/ SFDC/ Hootsuite/ Semrush and various other digital platforms is a plus.
  • Proficient in the English language (written and spoken) and able to speak Mandarin will be preferred in view this role will require lots of stakeholders management in China.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Words, and Social Media platform.
