For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $139,200 - 253,200 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Global Program Manager - Key Accounts

Hybrid work schedule in Nashville, TN; Dallas or Houston, TX; Chicago, St. Louis, MO or Raleigh, NC

Schneider Electric is searching for a highly motivated and collaborative Business Leader to join our team as a Key Account Program Manager for the Digital Power business unit. This role demands a professional with substantial customer engagement experience, who can drive operational excellence to our strategic clients by driving alignment and execution of the account strategy. The Program Manager provides a pragmatic approach to the relationship through accountability, actions, and outcomes. The Program Manager creates the processes and vision to provide a customer-centric and consistent full life cycle experience & NAM geographies. The Program Manager works very closely with the Strategic Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Regional Leaders and the customer. The program manager also manages a team of project managers dedicated to this account, maintaining control and accountability of the entire customer experience.

Overview:

This person will act as a proactive and transformational leader. The Program Manager drives alignment and collaboration across cross-functional and global teams and is an influential communicator with the ability to articulate the program strategy effectively to key decision makers internally as well as with customers. This person must be able to present sound arguments with energy and conviction while understanding and responding to others' needs and agendas. They will also spearhead and leverage digital playbooks and customer dashboards to enhance alignment and accountability.

Essential Functions:

  • Operational Strategy Execution: Lead the operational execution of the account strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations. Lead financial management, risk management, resource management, project management structure and stakeholder management.
  • Strategic Vision: Proficient in considering long-term impact, anticipating future needs, and strategically selecting initiatives that yield broad and lasting effects.
  • Development Process Management: The global program manager manages the development process for tools, applications, and functional specifications.
  • Team Leadership: This person will lead a team of Project Managers and Specialists for a major program.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices globally to standardize experiences, ensuring consistency and efficiency within the account.
  • Growth Initiatives: Drive and track growth initiatives, including specific customer-requested projects.
  • Value Differentiation: Continuously disrupt and innovate to create additional value for our clients.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR): Take ownership of the operational component of QBRs, providing insights and driving improvements.
  • Global Integration: Support the integration of the account across all Business Units, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Complex Project Support: Collaborate with execution and tendering teams on complex projects.
  • Customer Needs Management: Understand, Coordinate and manage operational customer needs and escalations. Understand and anticipate customer needs, applications, and values. Focus on customer total EXPERIENCE and LIFECYCLE. Create a sense of win-win partnership.

Qualifications
  • Project Management: Minimum of 5 years managing large, complex, multi-geography projects. Ability to drive a project in a multicultural, complex environment.
  • Program Management: Proven experience in developing and managing projects or programs aligned with strategic account direction.
  • Customer Facing Experience: Substantial Experience leading customer facing meetings, seminars, business reviews, or programs expected.
  • Leadership skills: Must have managed direct reports, ideally Project Managers.
  • Internal Network: Strong internal network and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Risk Anticipation: Ability to identify gaps and anticipate risks.
  • Digital Proficiency: Experience with digital tools and transformation initiatives.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience using Smartsheet and Microsoft Suite of Products
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and influencing abilities. Ability to communicate efficiently by listening and sharing information with internal and external customers.
  • Strategic Thinking: Innovative mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective organizational skills are a key requirement.
  • Action-Oriented: Proactive and action-driving mindset.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests/issues.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative Attitude: Openness to team ideas and positive collaboration. Encourage working groups by sharing their knowledge. Share talents, resources, and know-how. Build an agile NETWORK and promote synergies.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of local business culture. Ability to understand, appreciate and incorporate the unique contributions of associates with diverse backgrounds in business interactions.
  • Business Acumen and Commercial Awareness: Understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and long-term impact. Ability to utilize insight about the trends, key issues and external factors that impact the industry and the organization.
  • Technical Assimilation: Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical information regarding data center products and solutions.
  • Data Center Knowledge: Have a foundational understanding of data centers and their equipment.
  • Certification (Advantageous): PMP certification
