General Manager, Strategic Marketing
Education Equipment Services is Schneider Electric's new global program for the technical and vocational education market - supplying lab equipment, curriculum, certification and trainer development to institutions training the next generation of energy-management and industrial-automation technicians.
The Global Offer Marketing Manager owns the offer: the lab portfolio, its positioning against competitors, pricing, the curriculum framework, and the tools country teams use to win deals. It is a strategic marketing role - the bridge between SE's engineering organisation and the Institutional markets. It is not a communications or brand role.
Own the offer. Enable the markets.
What you'll own
- Offer portfolio - the global lab catalogue (configurations, modules, user experience, pricing and lifecycle) and the Annual Maintenance Contract offer.
- Competitive positioning - intelligence and battlecards that help country teams
- Curriculum framework - the learning-outcomes architecture and SE Academy certification, aligned to national qualification frameworks.
- Sales toolkit - pitch decks, datasheets, battlecards, case studies and tender frameworks (English master, ready to localise).
- Pricing & commercial framework - global price book, market floor pricing, partner margins and discount governance.
- 7+ years in product marketing, offer management or portfolio strategy, including 3+ years in a global or multi-market role.
- Direct experience in technical and vocational education (TVET), EdTech or industrial training - as a supplier, partner or buyer. (Essential.)
- A track record of competitive positioning that wins against entrenched incumbents in real tenders - not just tracking competitors.
- Experience with national qualification frameworks in at least two target regions (China, USA, Brazil or ASEAN).
- Commercial acumen - pricing, margin structures and negotiation, not just marketing communications.
- Business-level English; Mandarin, Portuguese or a Southeast Asian language is a strong advantage.
- Industrial-automation or energy-management product background (Energy Management and Industrial Automation).
- Experience in a matrix organisation and in launching a challenger brand against an entrenched incumbent.
- Travel: ~30% (about 15 weeks per year), with at least one substantive visit to each of the four markets annually.
- Working pattern: outcomes based.
