In this role, you will strategically manage and develop a portfolio of customers. You will work closely with both established industry veterans and a new generation of decision-makers. Personality, communication skills, and willingness to learn are more important than long commercial experience. A technical background provides a strong foundation - and also gives long-term flexibility for internal career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Act as the primary commercial contact with consistent follow-up.
- Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and product discussions.
- Understand customer workflows, project needs, and decision-making processes.
- Drive the B2B sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Present and promote Schneider Electric's solutions portfolio.
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activities with discipline.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, technical support, and product teams.
- Coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs.
- Join customer visits with technical specialists when beneficial.
- Continuously expand technical knowledge in electrical components and automation.
Qualifications
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent (formal degree or vocational).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High willingness to learn commercial and technical aspects of the role.
- Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently.
- Confident meeting both experienced industry veterans and new-generation customers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience from electrical components, panel building, automation, or technical B2B environments is an advantage.
Personal Attributes
- Curious, service-minded, and positive.
- Comfortable taking initiative and owning customer relationships.
- Reliable, consistent, and good at following up.
- Thrives in discussions, solution development, and strategic customer work.
- Motivated by long-term relationship building.
- Enjoys collaborating with specialists and working in a team-oriented culture.
What We Offer
- A key role within a well-established and supportive team.
- The opportunity to grow in a global, market-leading company.
- Access to strong internal expertise across technical and commercial disciplines.
- A culture that values development, learning, and well-being.
- Freedom with responsibility - and the chance to shape your own growth.
- Career opportunities across both technical and commercial paths within Schneider Electric.
- An employer recognized globally as one of the world's most sustainable companies.
