Frontend, Principal Technical Expert

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to contribute to the design and development of complex, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience building scalable frontend systems, working with modern frameworks, and collaborating across distributed teams. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, maintainable code while contributing to architectural decisions and product evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, high-performance web user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and maintainability.
- Develop frontend applications using modern frameworks and architectural patterns, with emphasis on reusable and component-based design.
- Translate UX designs and Figma mockups into production-ready, pixel-accurate implementations.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs, handling data flows, errors, and edge cases effectively.
- Apply secure frontend coding practices to ensure application integrity and protect against common web vulnerabilities.
- Work with modern build systems to enable efficient bundling, code splitting, linting, and optimization.
- Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and ensure quality gates through CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, including rendering behavior, runtime efficiency, and network usage.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders in a cross-functional, distributed team.
- Participate in planning, technical discussions, and root cause analysis to ensure reliable delivery and continuous improvement.
Technical Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience building high-quality, production-grade user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications.
- Deep expertise in React, with strong understanding of its core concepts, architectural patterns, and evolving ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with solid experience working alongside Node.js in front-end-centric architectures.
- Experience translating Figma designs into robust, maintainable, and pixel-accurate implementations, in close collaboration with UX and product teams.
- Strong understanding of browser internals, including the rendering pipeline, event loop, and web networking concepts such as HTTP and WebSockets.
- Experience integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including schema-driven development, data validation, and robust error handling.
- Expertise with modern front-end build tools such as Vite and/or Webpack, and familiarity with bundlers like Rollup.
- Experience with code quality, static analysis, and refactoring tools such as SonarQube.
- Strong understanding of front-end testing best practices, with hands-on experience using Testing Library, Jest, Vitest, and Cypress.

- Proficient use of Git, including experience working with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize web performance, including bundle size, rendering performance, and runtime behavior.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to contribute beyond formal responsibilities when needed, with a pragmatic "get-things-done" attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience designing scalable, robust, and maintainable cloud-based front-end architectures.
- Knowledge of microservices-based systems and their interaction with front-end applications.
- Experience with real-time or video-related technologies, such as WebRTC and RTSP video streaming.
- Familiarity with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) or related security platforms.
- Domain knowledge in Building Automation or Security Systems.
- Prior experience building configuration-heavy or dashboard-oriented platforms.
