Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Internship in our Columbia, MO facility. This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. This will be a part -time position for the 2027 Spring Semester with the opportunity to extend through the summer. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance will be provided for this role.

As a Finance Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses.

• Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in developing presentations and reporting materials for management.

Budgeting & Cost Management
• Support budget planning and tracking processes.
• Assist in monitoring departmental spending and cost performance.
• Help maintain financial models and forecasting tools.
• Participate in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Finance Administration
• Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial documentation and audits.
• Help maintain financial systems and databases under supervision.

Business Partnership & Operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Public
• Assist with special projects related to operational and financial performance.
• Participate in meetings to gain exposure to business planning and decision-making processes.
• Provide analytical support for key business initiatives.

This position may be a great fit for you if you:
• Are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Are able to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Have the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $23 to $27.50 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
