Field Services Project Manager

We are seeking a customer‑oriented Field Services Project Manager to lead the execution of service projects from launch to completion. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring safety and quality, managing customer relationships, and driving profitable project delivery.
About the Role

As a Field Services Project Manager, you will manage Category C Field Services projects, which typically include supply, delivery, and standard on‑site services (installation, maintenance, break‑fix) on Schneider Electric equipment, with limited technical or contractual risk. You will be accountable for the end‑to‑end project flow, from planning to financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Initiation & Planning

  • Lead project launch, internal kick‑off and, when required, customer kick‑off meetings.
  • Review project scope, contract, and documentation with the tendering team.
  • Confirm budget and project profitability expectations; validate payment mechanisms.
  • Ensure accurate project booking and invoicing plan in ERP.
  • Build project schedule, milestones, and risk analysis; define project organization and roles.

Project Execution & Coordination
  • Define and monitor workload, deliverables, and progress.
  • Facilitate communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate site activities with Field Service Representative (FSR) managers/planners and ensure work orders are created and aligned with the project timeline.
  • Manage contractual obligations, deviations, and change orders.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance throughout execution.
  • Serve as the customer's primary point of contact during project delivery.

Financial & Performance Management
  • Control project spending and strive for gross margin improvement.
  • Ensure timely revenue recognition and support cash collection.
  • Provide accurate forecasting (book‑to‑bill, sales, and margin).
  • Identify risks early, escalate when needed, and ensure proper project closure and documentation archiving.
  • Conduct lessons‑learned sessions when relevant
Your profile
  • Engineering university degree
  • Knowledge of medium/low voltage distribution solutions and/or UPS/cooling
  • Familiarity with Schneider Electric Services portfolio is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project
  • Fluency in English is required
