Main Mission:

The Operation Excellence leader is in charge to lead Field Service (FS) operation performance towards excellence by improving processes, governance and efficiency of tendering and Execution in countries, leveraging tools and digitization.

You are in charge of planning and implement FS global strategic initiatives through the Annual Execution Plan (AEP) - (Safety/Cyber/Productivity (including Subcontractor)/Tendering & Delivery/Readiness to launch new offers) on top of local plan.

You are responsible for productivity, efficiency and cost optimization of the Field Services execution organization. This role works as the data analytics center for the execution team and is responsible for deriving meaningful insights for continuously improving the processes within the function.

Activities and areas of responsibility:

  • Set up the governance to deliver all initiatives under the Annual Execution Plan (AEP). Ensure progress review on initiatives across Safety & Cybersecurity, Customer Satisfaction, Partners, Productivity, Tendering and Delivery domains
  • Operating model & E2E service processes and playbooks deployment and compliance
  • Digitization - Ensure good implementation & adoption of FS Execution tools and global applications and productivity tools and FSR enablement, cybersecurity.
  • Responsible to drive initiatives through the Field Services Execution organization to improve productivity through efficiency creation on time:
    • Standard time, labor utilization (Utilization rate/ billable rate/ overtime)
    • Hourly rate process
    • Organizational efficiency (capacity planning/ structure ratio/ under or over absorption).
    • Cost management - warranty costs, project costs for improved GM
  • Balance score card reporting and monitoring for Services Execution
  • Business analytics for Execution - support coverage/footprint, product failure rates, open work orders, timesheet adherence, efficiency, tracking
  • SPS deployment within Execution and Process Excellence/ continuous improvement programs

Key Success Factors:
  • Ability to build trust, engage cross functional teams, manage conflicts and create win-win relationship
  • Ability to manage and understand the data, evaluate the trends and address the proper actions to mitigate all deviations


Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):
  • FS Execution Balance Scorecard , KPI's improvment
  • P&L/FS Gross Margin management : build productivity plan with action and numbers to be translated in P&L, by FS driver ( Workforce Efficiency , Sucontracting , Projects Gross Margen improvement , Supply Chain & Procurement ), follow-up progress with team and Finance Business Partner through Gross Margin Analisys of Change, actual and forecast , anticipate & mitigate issues if any .


Education and skills:
  • Education Engineering and/or Business University Degree
  • Technical requirements Field Service business & strategy knowledge, Field Service Finance understanding, understanding of SAP modules and how they integrate/influence other data tools
  • Language requirements English fluency is a must
