Regional Commissioning Team Leader
Objective & Mission
The Team Leader in Flying Squad team leads a team of highly skilled Regional Commissiong Specialists delivering onsite services across multiple technologies (Cooling, UPS, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Digital Solutions). The role ensures successful execution of complex and critical projects, providing advanced technical expertise, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, safety, and quality.
The Team Leader is responsible for team's performance, capability development, resource allocation, operational coordination and team's deliverable while acting as a key interface between field teams, customers and internal stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of multi-disciplinary Regional Commissiong Specialists
- Lead or support the team during Commissioning and startup activities across technologies at site
- Drive performance management, skills development, and career progression
- Promote strong team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice exchange
- Foster a safety-first culture and full compliance with HSE policies
- Ensure capacity and) according to project pipeline
- Align workforce capacity and competencies with business demand and project pipeline for the region (Europe)
- Ensure proper onboarding, certification and continuous training
- Reach targeted team's utilization, financial objectives, customer satisfaction and quality requirements
- Contribute to strategic services initiatives (service model evolution, CI projects, process enhancements)
- Act as escalation point for customers during critical project phases
Requirements
- Provide technical guidance across given technology of Cooling systems, UPS systems, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage distribution panels, Digital solutions (SCADA, IoT, connectivity, BMS)
- Technical acumen to ensure high-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
- Hands-on experience with commissioning tools and measurement equipment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation, drawings and schematics, general business procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and propose corrective actions
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ensure strong customer communication, customer satisfaction
- Interface with internal stakeholders (L4 technical support, engineering, quality teams)
- Flexibility to travel internationally for 50% of the working time (and more)

Education and Experience:
- University Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering
- Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in field service, commissioning or complex project delivery
- Proven experience in multi-technology environments (Cooling, MV/LV, UPS, Digital)
- First experience in team leadership or coordination roles
- Mandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)
- Willingness to travel internationally (frequent, project-driven)
- Strong proficiency with digital and reporting tools (MS Office, and engineering tools)
- Flexibility & Reliability, Customer focus, Team player, Leadership skills

For this Slovakia based position, the expected pay range is EUR 35.200 - EUR 52.800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (individual and/or collective). The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within Slovakia. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
