Field Service Engineering Operations Manager

Responsible for leading the Field Services operations across the Andean Cluster (Chile and Peru), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of technical services, in compliance with time, cost, quality, and safety standards.

This role directly contributes to business profitability and growth by managing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and strengthening customer relationships , delivering a differentiated service experience.

  1. Key Responsibilities


Operations Management & Execution

Ensure service delivery at customer sites is performed in accordance with safety, quality, budget, and timeline standards

Oversee planning and execution of service activities, ensuring operational efficiency and SLA compliance

Supervise service projects execution, controlling scope, costs, and timelines

Ensure proper management and billing of additional work scope requested by customers

Safety, Quality & Compliance (HSEQ)

Lead by example in enforcing health, safety, environmental, and cybersecurity standards

Ensure technical teams are properly certified, trained, and equipped to operate on-site

Promote a strong culture of safety, prevention, and employee well-being

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards

Leadership & People Management

Lead, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams

Ensure ongoing training, certification, and capability development

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence

Align team skills and capabilities with evolving business needs

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Manage relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty

Understand customer needs to maintain service continuity and deliver service excellence

Collaborate with sales, support functions, and internal stakeholders to ensure integrated execution

Identify business growth opportunities within existing customer accounts

Business Performance & Productivity

Ensure achievement of key operational and commercial performance indicators (KPIs)

Contribute to profitable business growth through productivity and efficiency improvements

Monitor and control operational costs and optimize resource utilization

Drive improvements in key metrics such as First-Time Fix Rate (FTFR) and workforce productivity

Continuous Improvement & Operating Model

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality

Promote agile and lean operational practices

Support the deployment of corporate strategies and operating models

Encourage cross-functional collaboration and elimination of organizational silos

  1. Scope of the Role


Direct leadership of technical team (~9 employees)

Full responsibility for Field Services operations in Chile and Peru (Andean Cluster)

Direct interaction with customers, sales teams, support functions, and internal stakeholders (BUs, Solution Center, CS&Q, etc.. ) .

Coordination with regional and global service organizations

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Electronics, or related field

Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical service operations, project management, or similar roles

Proven experience leading technical teams and managing customer relationships

Knowledge of energy, IT, or complex technical service industries

Intermediate level of English (preferred)
