For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $155,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Quality Manager to join our Buffalo, NY area facilities. This position is responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems to ensure products meet standards. Key duties include overseeing product inspection and testing, managing quality control staff, analyzing quality data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes. This role also involves working closely with the supplier quality manager and internal and external audits to ensure the company meets customer and ISO standards.

Core responsibilities :

  • Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO standards.
  • Inspection and Testing: Implement and oversee inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for raw materials, in-process components, and finished Motivair data Center Cooling Products.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, using tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), to identify trends, track performance, and drive improvements.
  • Problem Solving: Lead investigations into non-conforming products and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and track their effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Train, manage, and guide quality control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure new products meet quality standards and to resolve technical problems.
  • Auditing: Schedule and conduct internal quality audits and liaise with external auditors and customers to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company's products and processes comply with all relevant regulations and maintain necessary compliance documentation.

Who will you report to?

You will report to the Quality Director. This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to the Buffalo, NY area facilities 5 days a week.

Required skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred otherwise relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment, preferrably cooling product experience/knowledge
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with ISO quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of liquid cooling and data center cooling manufacturing processes.
