Facilities Manager UK & Ireland
About the Role
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and sustainability? We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager UK&I to lead and manage integrated facilities management across multiple sites, ensuring high standards, cost efficiency, and innovation.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee vendor relationships, budget control, and service delivery while driving Schneider Electric's sustainability goals and showcasing our cutting-edge solutions.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across the country, mainly Midlands, Leeds and London and other locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and animate all aspects of external FM contracts across multiple sites.
• Ensure optimal delivery of building services, utilities, accommodation, housekeeping, and security.
• Monitor and enforce SLAs and KPIs with vendors, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Manage budgets for site development and improvement projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Plant/DC GMs, Site Managers) and external partners.
• Drive sustainability initiatives including decarbonization, circular economy, and biodiversity.
• Promote Schneider Electric products and solutions within facilities.
• Support strategic planning and execution of premises roadmaps.
What You Will Bring
o Master's or Engineering degree in FM, Engineering, or related field.
o 5-10 years in facilities management, ideally across multi-site environments.
o Advanced contract and vendor management
o Strong technical knowledge (HVAC, electrical, construction)
o Financial acumen and budget control
o Leadership and stakeholder influence
o Sustainability and environmental strategy
o Excellent communication and change management
o Fluency in English is a must have
