About the role

Join Schneider Electric's UK & Ireland Marketing team to drive impactful external communications, thought leadership, and executive positioning.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for a digitally savvy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, matrix environment. You will play a key part in shaping how our brand is perceived externally-delivering compelling narratives, leading PR efforts, and executing integrated campaigns that support business growth.

What you will do

  • Define and deliver the thought leadership and external content strategy across key segments and brand priorities
  • Lead PR strategy and agency management, ensuring strong media presence and measurable ROI
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns aligned with commercial objectives
  • Partner with business leaders, Segment Managers, and the Partnerships & Innovation team to amplify strategic initiatives and sales enablement efforts
  • Support and deliver executive communications, including messaging and high-visibility content
  • Create high-quality content such as articles, press materials, and executive messaging
  • Collaborate with digital, marketing, and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Prepare senior leadership presentations, including insights, recommendations, and performance reporting
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and maximise impact

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or PR (agency or in-house)
  • Fluent in English, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of marketing impact on business performance
  • Proven ability to design and deliver strategic, integrated communication plans
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities
  • Confident working in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Digitally fluent, with experience across modern communication channels and tools
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on results
