The Application Expert's mission is to provide expert technical support for electrical equipment (FD & FDS), engaging regularly with customers through CCC to understand and resolve their application issues. This role involves troubleshooting application problems to suggest quality enhancements and feature improvements. Additionally, the Application Expert shares knowledge gained from application support with the team, contributes to product quality improvement, and supports business objectives by offering technical advice on standardization and marketing.

Contribute to the warm loop

Contribute to the warm loop (CCC L3 / OSI) to bring in application knowledge.

Conduct on-site investigations in collaboration with the architect application to identify the root causes of the issues.

Escalate internally the customer issues and pain points.

Contribute to the robustness & success of existing offers & new offers

Provide application knowledge by providing inputs into the EPICS (system/products) for the mission profile definition and the definition of system and product CTQs, as well as P-diagram and DFMEA.

Contribute to the development of installation standards and other essential norms for SE's business.

Support the architect application on the raw technical material for application guide creation and maintenance.

Support the architect application on the advanced technical data.

Main interactions

Customers, League members incl. SO PO & Marketing, Epic Owner, DFSR Practitioners, Offer Quality Leaders & Offer Technical Leaders, Standard Officer, Innovation department.

Ranges in scope:

• Final Distribution Devices - MCB, RCCB, Isolators, Auxilliaries, AFDD & SPD, RCBO.

• Final Distribution system - SPN & TPN with fishbone assembly.

  • Qualifications - Internal

    The candidate will have a technical educational background in Electricity, electronics & mechanics, or communication protocols (Modbus TCP, Lora...). Past experience in Power distribution, Green Energy or Data center power architecture will be appreciated

    • preferable to have a second international language (Chinese, Spanish)

    • Overall 14+years of experience in the field of Switchgear Industry and minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required.
