EOEM Tender Manager
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The EOEM Tender Manager leads, but not limited to, the end‑to‑end tendering process for large, complex EOEM opportunities overall, especially within our highly successful EcoXpert Power Distribution program. This role owns the integrated quote, tender, and proposal strategy from early qualification through bid approval-ensuring one aligned, accurate, and profitable offer that meets customer requirements and Schneider Electric's value proposition.
Serving as the single point of accountability, the Tender Manager coordinates across Sales, Power Products, GSC, Plants, Finance, Credit, Legal, and Supply Chain to deliver consistent, cost‑effective, and risk‑managed tenders. The role joins opportunities at Selling Gate S0/S1 and maintains ownership through S2 approval, supporting the objective to win and execute high‑value EOEM projects with confidence and discipline.
What will you get to do?
- Own end‑to‑end EOEM tender execution for large, complex opportunities (often >$8M), serving as the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, content, approvals, and submission quality.
- Drive profitable growth by navigating and optimizing CCOGM (quote vs. ship), identifying margin improvement levers, and ensuring leadership decisions are supported by accurate, pre‑vetted financials and P&L commentary.
- Lead cross‑functional alignment across Sales, GSC, Plants, Offer Management, Finance, Credit, Legal, and Supply Chain to deliver one consistent, compliant, and competitive proposal.
- Integrate SIOP and capacity intelligence into the tender process-confirming plant ownership, validating capacity and schedule feasibility, and proactively managing supply chain and execution risk.
- Own risk and governance discipline, including technical complexity, commercial exposure, terms & conditions, credit risk, schedule commitments, and escalation packages for senior leadership and SVP review.
- Partner closely with the Opportunity Owner (Sales) early in the opportunity lifecycle to improve data quality, shorten cycle times, and eliminate last‑minute pricing, scope, and approval issues.
- Manage customer and internal expectations through clear tender strategies, structured reviews, and transparent communication-delivering a best‑in‑class, white‑glove EOEM experience.
- Apply and institutionalize best practices from established tendering models (e.g., Power Systems), helping mature Power Products tendering from transactional to disciplined, scalable, and repeatable.
- Ensure clean handoff to execution , coordinating final scope, commercial terms, and assumptions with operations and project teams once the opportunity is awarded

What qualifications will make you successful?
- 5+ years of experience in tender management, commercial operations, or complex cross-BU solutions for electrical equipment for commercialized products and/or large industrial/datacenter projects.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including margin analysis, pricing structures, and the ability to translate cost models into competitive, profitable offers.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex tenders involving multiple stakeholders, constrained capacity, custom schedules, and commercial terms.
- Working knowledge of contract terms & conditions, risk assessment, and governance processes; experience partnering with Legal, Finance, and Credit teams.
- Ability to lead without authority, aligning cross‑functional teams and driving accountability in a matrixed environment, e.g., Sales, BDM, Pricing, SIOP, GSC, PM, SA.
- Highly organized and process‑driven, with the discipline to manage milestones, approvals, escalations, and deadlines across multiple concurrent tenders.
- Strong communication skills-able to synthesize complexity into clear executive summaries, approval packages, and customer‑ready proposals.
- Experience supporting Sales organizations, including early opportunity shaping, tender strategy definition, and participation in negotiations (as required).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with datacenter, power distribution, breakers, switchgear, or mission‑critical infrastructure is strongly preferred.

- Delivers a best‑in‑class, white‑glove customer experience by owning end‑to‑end tender accountability, coordinating across BU's, GSC, Credit, and Sales to present a single, aligned, on‑time proposal-reducing rework, late escalations, and customer friction.
- Improves GSC forecasting and execution accuracy by integrating SIOP, capacity, schedule, and supply risk assessments early in the tender lifecycle-minimizing supply chain disruption while enabling confident commit‑to‑ship decisions for energy‑driven demand.
- Institutionalizes a scalable, repeatable EOEM tendering model aligned with proven best practices-establishing clear ownership, structured reviews, and early Sales engagement to reduce inefficiencies, shorten cycle times, and support sustained double‑digit YoY growth.
