Engineering Trainee
Our Hong Kong Engineering Trainee Program 2026 is a fast-track development program for graduates in Electrical Engineering, Transportation Systems Engineering, or related disciplines who aspire to build a professional career in the electrical field. This 2-year rotational program offers HKIE Scheme "A" Graduate Training to eligible candidates, aiming to equip trainees with the technical, managerial, and professional skills needed to become qualified engineers and future leaders within Schneider Electric's Hong Kong Operations

Even if your program is not eligible for Scheme "A" training, you are still welcome to apply . However, please be aware that you will not be able to obtain Scheme "A" certification through this program.
Program Features
During the 2-year program, Engineering Trainees will undergo comprehensive training that covers product knowledge, engineering practices, design, project management, and engineering administration and management. Through rotations across various business units and functions, trainees will gain hands-on experience, contribute to key projects, develop technical solutions for clients, and manage take ownership of meaningful responsibilities.

Real Engineering Experience
- Rotations across diverse business units: Digital Energy, Field Services, Project Execution, and more.
- Exposure to design, installation, testing, commissioning, and project management.
Mentorship & Support
- Guided by Engineering Supervisors and Training Tutors.
- Regular feedback, performance reviews, and personalized career coaching.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
- Hands-on project involvement and learning sessions to build technical and soft skills.
Qualifications
- Final year university students or recent graduates in Electrical Engineering, Transportation Systems Engineering, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Strong technical foundation with commercial and strategic mind
- Passionate in sustainability with high learning agility & desire to drive change & influence
- Innovative, and strong in problem-solving &analytical thinking
- Embracing new technology and digital environment
* Candidates from programs eligible for HKIE Scheme "A" in Electrical Discipline will be enrolled in the Scheme "A" training. Candidates from non-eligible programs are also welcome to apply, but will not be able to obtain Scheme "A" certification through this program .
