Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
With employee IT experience at the forefront of our work, the Endpoint Solutions team is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen endpoint systems management and endpoint services across the organization.
This position is suited to a hands-on Endpoint Solutions Engineer who combines technical depth in Microsoft endpoint technologies with strong automation skills, enterprise support experience, collaboration mindset and a continuous improvement approach to endpoint services.
The role focuses on building, implementing and supporting information systems related to enterprise endpoints, ensuring systems operate at optimal levels while supporting architecture and change management functions in the development of new technologies and system requirements.
The successful candidate will work on endpoint solutions, proofs of concept and projects, collaborating with Infrastructure Architects, PC Engineers, vendors, third-party partners and internal Schneider Digital teams.
Your Mission
Strengthen systems management and endpoint services by providing skilled management and configuration processes for managed devices, application packaging, application lifecycle concepts, SCCM/MECM/Intune engineering, PowerShell scripting and wider PC engineering activities as directed by the team architects.
The role requires close collaboration with Infrastructure Architects, PC Engineering colleagues, vendors, third-party partners and internal Schneider Digital teams to deliver reliable, secure and employee-focused endpoint services.

What will you do?
Key Responsibilities
- Build, implement and support enterprise endpoint infrastructure and related information systems.
- Engineer and administer endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
- Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to improve endpoint service delivery, operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Package, distribute and manage applications, contributing to application lifecycle processes and standards.
- Support patching and software distribution processes across managed endpoint environments.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced PC-related software and endpoint management issues.
- Contribute proof of concept, technical solutions and project delivery in partnership with Infrastructure Architects and other PC Engineering colleagues.
- Collaborate with vendors, third-party partners and internal Schneider Digital teams to deliver reliable endpoint services.
- Learn and contribute to adjacent PC Engineering areas such as device management, automation, packaging, SQL and related endpoint technologies.
What are the key skills we are looking for?
Your Strengths
- A strong all-round PC / workstation engineering profile, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and technologies.
- Hands-on experience in a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment, including SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune, SQL and/or Azure.
- Strong PowerShell capability, including the ability to build scripts from scratch.
- Practical understanding of packaging and endpoint automation approaches.
- An inquisitive mindset focused on finding better ways to deliver automated solutions and improve user satisfaction.
- At least 3 years of experience with PCs, including support and engineering responsibilities.
Technical and Functional Requirements
- Proven knowledge of desktop environments, including Microsoft Windows 10 Professional operating systems, hardware, mobility, and connectivity.
- Strong experience with PowerShell.
- Experience administering Intune and System Center Configuration Manager, or similar endpoint management platforms.
- Experience and knowledge of patching and software distribution processes.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced problems related to PC software.
- Understanding Active Directory and Group Policy application and design.
- Understanding of network topologies; knowledge of Zscaler and proxies is desirable.
- Awareness of emerging desktop technologies.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation.
- Desire to learn new methods and technologies.
- Experience in a global role is desirable.
