Role : Electronics COE India Chapter Leader

The electronics market has been evolving fast in the last decades with strong technology shifts and upgrades. Schneider Electric is taking a step forward to adapt to this market evolution at the right speed. An electronics transformation is on the way with several critical changes operated :
- Simplification/rationalization and platforming of our electronics usage
- Leverage of the best technologies (right tradeoff between up-to-date technos and needs)
- Acceleration of our electronics architecture redesigns
- Leverage selected strategic partners and managed properly our technological relationship with them
A decision to review the tradeoff between centralization/decentralization of some decisions making on electronics has been made: the electronics CoE , a transverse organization across EM Divisions, has been created to respond to this need.
What : The role is responsible for managing the Electronics CoE Chapter in India ( ~25permanent contracts) . The organization is part of :
- Electronics CoE , a multinational set up spread across geographies: India, USA , China and France .
- CTO Office India , a regional organisation aimi ng at enabl ing the developmen t of Energy Management divisions through expertise & innovation.
Key missions :
People Management:
- Identify chapter skill evolutions based on chapter strategy and roadmap, build and implement competency plans, upskill chapter members (and those in an acting role), build functional expertise in Electronics
- Experiment with new learning; exhibit curiosity and challenge ideas, identify & foster opportunities for skill development (e.g., trainings, courses...)
- Create an environment that allows the chapter members to thrive
- Develop the chapter members on skills mastery
- Build effective and diverse chapter membership
- Manage staffing and attrition risk s
Projects execution (for Divisions & internal Projects)
- Ensure Electronics CoE project roadmap is executed properly (quality of deliverables/planning, etc ...) It includes projects driven for Divisions and Internal Projects.
- Elevate agile mindset and ensure deployment within Electronics CoE India Chapter
- Manage Electronics CoE India Chapter budget in alignment with Electronics CoE VP
India support
- Ensure the right connections with India E lectronics engineering managers across EM to identify needs for competencies in a proactive way
- Understand the Business roadmaps for India
- Ensure teams are customer focused with the righ t business acumen
- Manage and monitor t he tradeoff of collaborators implication between competency develop ment, L o B support, electronics CoE projects, etc ....

Skills:
- Strong technical depth in electronics engineering , embedded systems is a must
- Good ability to understand u se cases in electronics: diversity across Energy Management divisions, commonalities, opportunities for new technologies usage/introduction
- Ability to navigate into complex matrix environment
- Ability to align stakeholders, collaborate to deliver results
- Influence and convince skills, Listening ability
- Ability to engage with suppliers and industry players
- Multitask : ability to manage multiple topics in parallel
- Tech culture mindset
- Good social skills and empathy
Qualifications:
- Electronics/Electrical master's degree mandatory
- 8+ years' experience in electronics engineering
- T eam management experience and transverse management experience
- Experience in coaching and mentoring, and successfully building and leading teams in a matrix environment.
