Electrical Tender Manager
Electrical Tender Manager, Dublin (Hybrid)
Power Systems Division, Schneider Electric
We're looking for a technically strong Electrical Tender Manager to join our Power Systems team in Dublin. This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office), supporting medium voltage (MV) project tenders across Ireland and collaborating closely with factories and internal stakeholders.
You'll play a key role in leading and reviewing tender submissions, ensuring technical accuracy, and mentoring a growing team. We need someone confident in MV power system designs who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of tendering. This is not a hands-on design or commissioning role, but it does require solid technical judgment, leadership, and coordination skills.
What you'll do:
• Lead tendering for MV systems, ensuring technical feasibility and risk review
• Collaborate with sales, project delivery teams and factories on customer requirements
• Review and guide technical documentation (e.g. single line diagrams, protection schemes)
• Provide support and oversight to less experienced engineers across the team
• Manage internal approvals, pricing, and commercial margins for proposals
What we're looking for:
• Strong background in MV systems (electrical engineering degree preferred)
• Experience in a tendering, design support or technical sales role (MV level)
• Confidence reviewing single line diagrams and technical specs
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance technical quality with commercial decision-making
Why this role?
This is a critical position in a lean and growing team. You'll shape how we deliver tenders, raise technical standards, and support junior team members. The role reports to the Ireland Power Systems Tender Director Juliana de Araujo de Moraes. There are no direct reports, but you'll be the go-to technical lead across the team.
