For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $98,400 - $147,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Reporting to the VP Brand & Communications for North America , the Editorial and Strategic Storytelling Manager will be responsible for leading the editorial strategy and calendar for North America's External and Internal Communications, including strategic thought leadership, tentpole events, and overarching programs. The role will have oversight and influence of NAM's day-to-day cadence of communications to key audiences, working collaboratively across the region's PR, exec & internal comms, public affairs, brand, and segment marketing teams to ensure Schneider Electric's mission and unique value proposition are cohesively reflected . The role will also be responsible for strategic messaging projects related to the company's regional narrative, tentpole event messaging, and critical transversal communications campaigns. This role will manage the region's primary social media channels, overseeing the content calendar and driving standards and guidelines for content development across NAM Marketing.

What will you do?

  • Implement and oversee a single editorial calendar across NAM's PR, external communications, thought leadership, public affairs, brand, employee communications, and transversal communications campaigns, with clear report-out and management mechanisms.
  • Develop a NAM Editorial Review Committee, comprised of senior marketing and adjacent leaders, to advise and align on key decision points related to the company's positioning.
  • Work closely and collaboratively across the NAM Brand & Communications team to develop efficient and helpful processes to update, scale, and leverage the Editorial Calendar, including evaluation and implementation of a system-of-management (SOM).
  • Manage NAM "Master Messaging" Playbook - in partnership with NAM Executive Communications Leader - as a single source of truth for transversal messaging in the region , ensuring regular updates and input are received.
  • Develop strategic messaging houses and similar outcome-based frameworks for critical events and initiatives, designed to be scaled and applied throughout segments, audiences, and channels.
  • Oversee day-to-day social media calendar and content for North America , managing a contractor role for channel execution and driving continuous improvement in our social media engagement models.
  • Oversee NAM Marketing's first AI Prompt Library for social media content creation & message house development, driving greater efficiency and accurate self-service modeling.
  • Work with all business functions to identify and deliver key employee messages and programs via the appropriate communication channel for transversal initiatives.
  • Serve as a change agent and "manage by influence" - ensuring organizational readiness through on-going communication, education, and best practice sharing.
  • Track progress and adjust strategies based on intelligent information gathering within editorial and social content, proactively advising on best practices and driving operational excellence.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to determine engagement and change management needs, expectations, and concerns of all audiences to ensure strong buy-in and support for the project.
  • Ensure strong brand compliance and alignment to Schneider Electric's latest brand campaign (launching Q2'26).

Qualifications

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • 3 + years experience in Marketing, Communications, or similar disciplines
  • Proven experience in leading editorial content, communications campaigns, and messaging projects.
  • Strong writing capabilities and proven experience with writing for employee and business audiences , with specific attention on message houses and thematic narratives.
  • Proven management of an editorial calendar, with multiple stakeholders and competing channels.
  • Demonstrated management of social media content, including writing, content strategy, and editorial oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing large-scale communications programs in matrixed corporate and/or industrial environments .
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams and departments
  • Strategic mindset with the capacity to align technology initiatives with broader business goals .
  • "Digital Native" - ability to manage editorial systems ( such as AirTable , Smartsheet, etc.) and proactively solve challenges while continuously improving usability.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of communications technology trends and best practices - experience with project management systems such as AirTable , Microsoft Project, and Generative AI content generation tools preferred.
  • Limited travel may be required to drive strong cultural transformation at Schneider Electric's hubs and facilities across North America.
  • This role is preferred to be based at a Schneider Electric Hub following the company's in-office requirements (2-3 days a week in-office) .
