Drives Expert Center Specialist (Technical Trainer)

The Role:
We are seeking a talented professional to take on the role of Drives Expert Center Specialist - a position that plays a pivotal part in strengthening technical and commercial excellence across our Drives ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and adapting training materials focused on Low & Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Your expertise will directly empower our internal sales teams, Offer Managers, technical sales engineers, application engineers, and trainers to confidently position, select, size, and sell VFD solutions across diverse industrial and commercial applications.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being the bridge between deep product knowledge and sales execution - driving business growth through impactful, high‑quality training programs.
What will you do?
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design, implement, and conduct commercial training sessions on Low & Medium Voltage VFDs and technical trainings on LV covering basic technical drives concepts, product portfolio, applications, and segments, where to play, sales strategies, competitive positioning, value propositions among others.
- Target Audience: Train Schneider Electric internal teams like Industrial territory sales engineers, key account managers, End User Sales, OEM Sales, Area Drives Managers, Segment Mangers, tendering teams, offer mangers, technicians and trainers ...
- Training Formats: Provide training through in-person workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, videos. The use of virtual and realistic demo units will be required to guarantee the best learning experience.
- Content Development: Create training materials, including presentations tailored to the different roles inside Schneider Ecosystem.
- Collect training feedback: Assess training effectiveness through feedback and knowledge retention evaluations, making continuous improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Offer Management and Sales teams to align training content with business priorities and market needs. Report data in MLL to complete the Drive community list.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to ensure training remains relevant and impactful

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Min Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related degrees.
- Min 5+ years of working experience in sales, training, or product management related to VFDs, motor control, applications or industrial automation.
- Proficient in the English Language (written and verbal).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of VFD technology and motor control applications.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts in a simple, compelling way.
- Strong background in commercial training, sales enablement, or technical sales.
- Sales Acumen: Experience in selling or supporting sales of VFDs.
- Training Expertise: Ability to design and deliver engaging training programs for sales professionals.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Power Point.
- Open to travel as this role requires travel (approx. 20%) to various locations in APAC / EU.
