Mission of this Position:

  • Lead the Engineering to Order technical execution of Variable Speed Drive Systems
  • Drive the operational excellence and optimize the performance of his team Key


Metrics Impacted by this Position:
  • SDS business growth in NAM
  • On Time delivery of the DAC to the plant and the Plant to the Customers
  • Project Leadtime
  • Efficiency of the DAC team


What will you do?

Lead NAM DAC team
  • Define resources and competencies for an optimized projects execution
  • Grow competencies and technical expertise
  • Ensure the alignment with internal policies and SDS objectives


Project execution:
  • Plan, prioritize, direct the work of the technical team in coordination with the manufacturing plant, and other stakeholders
  • Guide resources to achieve the project's goals
  • Cost reduction and efficiency must be an obsession
  • Address immediately roadblocks that slow down the correct execution of the order with other functions (Quality, Technical Antenna, SIOP)


Improve the operational efficiency of this team and more globally of the ETO orders execution:
  • Create and follow metrics to track team and individual performance
  • Set improvement action plans
  • Set a solid forecasting process addressing short-term, medium-term and long-term needs, in collaboration with the Plant, Project Management and the Offer Management teams
  • Anticipate the evolutions
  • Contribute to the standardization of Product/System offers (more Configured to Order)

Who will you report to?

Vice President, System Drives - AU IC&D Drives Strategy & Business Development

What will make you successful in this role?
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with a Technical background
  • 8 + years of experience, Engineering team Management or Project Management
  • Cross-cultural experience (interaction with other countries)
  • Specific Knowledge /certification
  • Drives Technology, Business and Engineering To Order process
  • Specific NAM drives offers
  • Understanding of Engineering tools, Languages & Computer Skills
  • Proficient in English, Spanish preferred
  • Curiosity to learn from other organizations
