This position is for a Distributor Account Manager in Singapore, responsible for driving the Schneider Electric, Secure Power Division (aka. APC by Schneider Electric) business through authorized IT distributors.

This role owns revenue delivery, inventory health, sell-out performance, and execution of strategic priorities & growth across the IT channel ecosystem; building strong relationships with distributor leadership, sales, product, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver sustainable growth for UPS, racks, PDU, cooling, software, and emerging solutions such as AI-ready edge infrastructure.

What will you do?

Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets (sell-in) through assigned distributors.
  • Drive weekly sell-out performance, ensuring momentum across priority product categories (Transactional & Edge).
  • Grow business in key segments: SMB, Commercial, Enterprise Edge, and AI infrastructure.

Distributor Relationship Management & Business Planning
  • Manage day-to-day engagement with distributor teams (leadership, PM, sales, operations).
  • Conduct Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR).
  • Develop Joint Business Plan & Marketing Programs with distributors.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management
  • Maintain optimal inventory health with DOH (Days on Hand) in line with Business expectation.
  • Prevent stockout of strategic SKUs and manage ageing inventory proactively.
  • Ensure weekly inventory reports are accurate and timely.

Forecasting & Pipeline Visibility
  • Deliver accurate monthly revenue forecasting including from both Managed and Non-managed partners.
  • Coordinate with distributors and working closely with the team to convert opportunities.
  • Monitor backlog, shipment timing, and demand patterns.

Channel Expansion & Reseller Development
  • Expand active reseller base (ARBs) through recruitment and enablement.
  • Strengthen coverage across VARs, MSPs, SI, retail/e-commerce partners.
  • Drive deal registration and partner engagement programs.

Pricing, Deals & Governance
  • Ensure pricing discipline and margin protection.
  • Manage special bids and approvals in compliance with policies.
  • Maintain zero non-compliance incidents.

Marketing & Demand Generation
  • Plan and execute co-marketing activities.
  • Manage MDF planning, utilisation, and ROI tracking.
  • Support business initiatives and partner events.

Training & Capability Development
  • Deliver regular product training.
  • Ensure readiness on emerging solutions including AI Edge solution.
  • Enhance distributors' technical and sales capability.

Operational Excellence
  • Ensure operational efficiency for orders, pricing, reporting, and escalations.
  • Improve distributor response time to market.
  • Ensure accuracy of statistical data (e.g Sales & Order).

Business Expansion & Strategic Execution
  • Drive strategic priorities: AI-ready infrastructure, edge computing, modernization.
  • Align distributors to global and regional APC programs.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.

Experiences
  • Possess min. 5-8 years of experience in IT channel sales or Distribution management.
  • Experiences in working with IT distributors or channel partners ecosystem required.
  • Background in UPS, Data Center hardware, or IT infrastructure preferred.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of IT channel dynamics and distributor operations.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, forecast trends, and manage inventory.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong team player.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel especially in Pivot table / Vlookup & CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a demanding / high-stake environment.
