Digital Product Owner II

Being part of Schneider Electric energy management R&D Center in India, you are responsible for design, implement, test and deliver high quality software to drive the selling of Schneider Electric products/solutions and services.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who can

- Translate business and market requirements to software requirements by working closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and execution.

- Plan and execute the roadmap using agile scrum methodology

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Work closely with Product Manager, UI/UX, SMEs to create and maintain product backlog by translating business requirements to features and user stories.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature and user stories backlog in consultation with the product manager and other members of product management team
  • Work with the scrums teams to come up with a sprint and PI based release plan
  • Conduct the agile rituals and meetings for backlog grooming & demos
  • Provide direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the PI
  • Work closely with the team architect and tech leads to ensure development progress
  • Consult technical leads to prioritize technical debts and customer issues along with product manager
  • Manage software localization and translation requirements
  • Represent the product in various governance forum - DODs & relevant stage gates
  • Be the voice of the customer to the development teams
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

Specific Competencies
  • Strong understanding of Software domain and agile development lifecycle is a must
  • Proven Customer focus
  • Prior experience with Software product development teams using Agile/Scrum
  • Proven track of record of successful projects in an agile environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment in a matrix organization with geographical distributed teams
  • Good understanding of .NET technology, Web applications, REST services and AZURE.
  • Calm and effective in a high-pressure environment
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Ability to build and leverage collaboration and networking.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details

Qualifications:
  • BE in Electronics/ Computers/Electrical with at least 5+ years' experience as product owner.
  • Minimum 8+ yrs of overall experience with a development background (mandatory)
  • Understanding of electrical domain is a plus.
