The Opportunity
The Digital Lead Consultant will drive strategic and delivery-focused digital transformation initiatives across complex industrial environments. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep domain expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to engage stakeholders from executive leadership to frontline operators.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Lead the development and execution of customer digital transformation strategies aligned with their business objectives.
- Program manage the delivery of digital programs, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and leverage agile methodologies and best practices.
- Manage cross-functional digital teams working on customer programs of work, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), data analytics, data governance, technical solution across IoT, OT, IT and cloud.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from CEOs and CTOs to plant operators to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Apply strategic thinking to identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency.
- Industry experience
- Produce high-quality documentation and communications that support program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Software, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 yrs experience delivering digital programs in industrial sectors.
- Extensive Industry experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Mining, mineral and metal
- Water and wastewater
- Transportation (ports/airports)
- Manufacturing
- Food and beverage
- Provide subject matter expertise in at least two of the following:
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES),
- Data analysis, data engineering and data analytics,
- AI, ML and LLMs,
- Solution architecture focus on OT/IT environments,
- IoT technologies for OT applications.
- Proven track record managing agile programs and applying agile methodologies.
- Advanced communication and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across stakeholder groups.
- Experience in process control and advanced process control technologies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans, deal-closing expertise and excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Commercial and financial acumen and ability to translate complex customer needs into smart, scalable solutions.
