DGM - BMS Hardware Design
Duties include:
• Principle point of contact, on assigned projects, with customer & key stakeholders for all design activity
• Lead customer meetings & workshops, to ensure the required outputs are achieved
• Preparation of defined BMS/ENMS design deliverables for RIBA Stage 3, 4 & 5, typically including Network Architectures, Points Schedules, Sequence of Operations, etc
• Collation of all design information & resolution of queries to allow timely completion of design, including necessary submittals & approval from customers representative
• Identification of scope changes, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time/cost impact
• Actively co-ordinate with internal teams, ensuring flow of information to allow efficient Software & Graphics production

• Ensure high degree of collaboration with project team to ensure, overall project timelines are met
• Contribute to the continuous development & improvement of customer engineering standards
• Provide regular status reporting of all design deliverables, to highlight progress both internally & externally
• Undertake peer reviews of other team members deliverables
• Act as our customers trusted advisor in all aspects of BMS/ENMS design & technical solutions
• Organise task assignment to remote engineering support & production teams to ensure deliverable milestones are acheived
• Provide support to wider Global Engineering, Centre of Excellence team, to ensure absences are covered & commitments met.
Qualifications & Experience
• Ideally qualified to degree level in relevant engineering discipline, however candidates with diploma level qualifications & demonstrable experience in a BMS/HVAC Design role are also be welcome
• Minimum 5 Years BMS design engineering experience, delivering greenfield projects in Data Centre, or similar mission critical segments
• Extensive technical knowledge of integrating 3rd party systems into our EcoStruxure range, to deliver necessary functionality required for high tech environments
