About role:

As an Engineer I / Senior Technician I - Manufacturing Process Quality, you support and strengthen quality performance across the manufacturing lifecycle to enhance customer satisfaction. You contribute to building a quality-focused culture at manufacturing sites by improving process and product robustness, reducing quality risks, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role operates as an individual contributor within a specialized quality team, applying foundational technical knowledge and practical experience to execute defined quality processes and programs.

Position : Deputy Manager - Manufacturing Process Quality

Work Location: Ahmednagar

Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience: 3-5 yrs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality assurance activities across the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle to ensure products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote and reinforce a quality-focused culture within manufacturing operations by adhering to and advocating standard quality practices and procedures.
  • Execute quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manufacturing process variability, defects, and quality risks.
  • Participate in quality assurance and validation activities for new, transferred, or modified manufacturing lines and processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities for manufacturing deviations and nonconformances.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

What We're Looking For:
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as Six Sigma and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Ability to work within clearly defined guidelines and contribute effectively as an individual contributor.
  • Foundational theoretical knowledge or basic experience-based understanding of manufacturing process quality principles.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and inspection or verification methods.
  • Problem-solving skills to address recurring or moderately routine issues using established methodologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
