Educational Qualification:

B.E/ B.Tech - Electrical/ EEE Plus MBA (Preferred)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10-12 years of experience in:
    • Service Sales, Business Development, or Aftermarket Sales
    • LV/MV Switchgear industry
    • Electrical distribution and industrial automation solutions
  • Experience managing regional/business development teams
  • Exposure to Eastern Zone markets (West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Assam, Northeast) preferred

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of:
  • LV Switchgear (ACB, MCCB, MCB, Relays, Capacitor Banks, etc.)
  • MV Switchgear
  • PCC & MCC Panels
  • Protection systems and electrical safety
  • Industrial Automation products and solutions
  • Retrofitting and panel upgradation opportunities
  • Digital retrofit solutions and connected electrical assets

Commercial Skills
  • Service sales (Retrofitting & Modernization)
  • Channel Partner development
  • Customer relationship management
  • Enterprise account management
  • Bid management and commercial negotiations
  • Revenue generation and business expansion

Systems Knowledge
  • Salesforce (SFDC)
  • SAP
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Leadership
  1. Size and structure of team managed
  2. Experience handling senior service sales engineers
  3. Coaching and performance management capability

Business Development
  1. Achievement against service-sales targets
  2. Retrofitting and modernization projects closed
  3. Digitalization opportunities identified and converted

Technical Assessment Questions

Switchgear
  • Thorough knowledge on power gear & control gear
  • What factors determine whether a switchgear should be retrofitted or replaced?
  • How do you identify modernization opportunities in an installed electrical system?

PCC & MCC
  • What are the major components of a PCC panel?
  • How does an MCC panel differ from a PCC panel?
  • Share an example of a successful panel upgradation project.

Digital Retrofitting
  • What digital retrofit solutions have you sold or supported?
  • How can electrical asset monitoring improve customer ROI?
  • Explain a project where digitization generated recurring revenue.
