This position is for a AirTrunk Demand Planning, Supply Chain & Logistic Leader.

Our mission is to lead and execute procurement and supply chain activities for all Air Trunk projects within the International Zone, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and full compliance with company standards. We focus on operational excellence through purchase order management, supplier coordination, logistics support, and issue resolution to enable smooth project delivery. By driving continuous improvement and leveraging digital tools, we create resilient, ethical, and agile supply chains that maximize efficiency and support sustainable business growth.

  • AirTrunk Projects delivered in international zone, full IG and OG accountability
  • The Air Trunk Program Procurement and Supply Chain Head reports hierarchically to the Air Trunk Program Leader and dotted line to the Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Leader - International.
  • The Procurement & Supply chain Leader is operationally and functionally responsible for the staff appointed to deliver procurement and supply chain requirements of the program end to end. including both tender and execution.

Delegations of authority
  • Authority to drive the operation of the OG Purchasing, IG and Logistics teams assigned to AirTrunk Program Procurement & Supply chain operation.
  • Authority to approve the issuance of purchase orders to suppliers selected on projects execution (as per current DOA) for IG and select OG - depending on the zone of execution and available span of delivery.
  • Authority to liaise with the Zone Procurement leaders as required to deliver logistics, OG and IG escalation support

Supplier Development
  • Deliver a pool of validated suppliers (compliance,evaluation,etc) to support business requirement with right performance while working closely with the zone solution procurement leaders.
  • Ensure that vendor performance is tracked and improvement actions are in place and follow up to its closure - as relevant to the AirTrunk program
  • Work to segment suppliers, trigger proper actions and develop long term partership with strategic ones- as relevant to the AirTrunk program
  • Review capacity of Suppliers(OG and IG) based on AirTrunk demand forecast and highlight in advance any risks - develop mitigation actions and implement.

Cost Competitiveness & Value Creation
  • Support cost optimization through transactional negotiations and adherence to approved budgets.
  • Drive cost optimisations through strategic sourcing, supplier mapping and negotiations.
  • Implement global initiatives on cost competitiveness and value creation in program

Operational Support and risk management
  • Track delivery schedules, resolve day-to-day procurement issues, and escalate risks as needed.
  • Strengthen risk management across suppliers and logistics ensuring resilience and continuity for AirTrunk projects.

Process Excellence
  • Ensure adherence to procurement processes, documentation standards, and support Digital and process improvement initiatives drives for the zone.

Talent Development & Collaboration
  • Develop procurement and supply chain capabilities through training and upskilling.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and performance.
  • Healthy succession planning and resilience of teams.

Drive procurement strategy
  • Identify the needs of the Business units to define the procurement strategy with the right external partnerships and right coverage.
  • We customize the regional initiatives to the zone level of maturity of our own area.

IG Strategy and management
  • Develop the network with internal factories to manage the needs of projects and BU to be able to plan and delivery to warranty the smooth execution

Logistic
  • Identify needs with local and Zone Procurement leaders and ensure process and operational needs are aligned and attended ( Warehousing , stock, custom and logistic)

Foster a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Champion operational discipline, ethical practices, and continuous capability development.

KPI
  • Set the relevant KPIs at Program levels in alignment with Regional, Business and compliance needs .

Quality, Safety, Cybersecurity and compliance
  • Ensuring that all Supply Chain activities are conducted in accordance with applicable SE governance rules and methods, and in accordance with recognized state-of-the-art practices in the field of project procurement. This implies being responsible for ensuring that:
    • applicable tools and methodologies are state-of-the-art and actually in use whereby safety, quality and technical capabilities are part of the supplier selection criteria.
    • purchasing performance KPIs and improvement plans are issued, developed, tracked, and are reported monthly.
    • Cost of non quality related to subcontractors are well understood and lessons learned derived out of issues identified.
    • HSE guidelines are followed by our subcontractors specially for on-site activities
    • Cybersecurity guidelines are followed by our subcontractors

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree, technical preferred, A master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years in Project delivery, managing large scale & complex projects / managing project procurement and 3-5 years with direct reportees
  • Experience in tender is a plus
  • Knowledge of Schneider's IG factories, GSC Supply chain methodologies etc., is a plus
  • Cross functional and cross border experience is a positive

  • Strong communication skills, effective in a cross-cultural environment to foster collaboration toward a common goal
  • Proven leadership skills in project context focusing on business objectives and good ability for networking.
  • Ability to understand, influence & convince in a complex matrix organisation, use strong internal and external networking to develop additional business
  • Commercial Acumen, Negotiation and Strategic thinking
  • At ease with new integrated digital tools for better work efficiency

  • Up to 40% travel
