Demand Planner - Final Distribution
The Demand Planner role sits at the heart of the business, driving the Offer and Demand Review process and leading the collaborative forecasting cycle to deliver an aligned, accurate demand plan across a 24-month horizon. As a key leader within the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, the Demand Planner translates market intelligence, commercial insights, and business strategy into actionable demand signals that enable operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Success in this role requires more than forecasting expertise. As a trusted partner to Commercial and Sales Leadership, the Demand Planner leverages data-driven insights to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and build consensus around demand expectations, risks, and opportunities. Through end-to-end scenario modeling and cross-functional collaboration, this role helps assess the downstream impact of demand decisions on supply, inventory, customer service, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship builder who can confidently engage senior stakeholders, drive accountability, and inspire alignment across the organization to achieve business objectives.
What will you do:
• Collaboration
o Interact with marketing, finance, and LoB to understand demand forecast drivers.
o Achieve consensus for forecasts at product family level
o Understand strategic growth initiatives
• Enrichments
o Integrate any event in the demand plan, that can be customers projects, launches or phase-out projects.
o Monitor and drive improvement in Forecast value add.
• Adjustments
o Coordinate demand plan alignment with Marketing, Finance & LoB
• Communication
o Prepare and lead the Offer and Demand Review.
Communicate the forecast and assumptions.
Highlight new products, and product phase-outs which are at risk and define actions to mitigate the risks. (OCP Discussions)
o Communicate main changes in forecast versus previous months
o Provide input to the Supply & Inventory Planners to assess the impact on inventory and capacity
o Work closely with Supply & Inventory planner on simulations and impact to the rest of the Supply Chain
• Continuous Improvement
o Monitor and drive improvement in Forecast value add, Forecast Accuracy, follow up order intake vs forecast, Root Cause Analysis for deviations, and manage corrective actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
• Up to 25% travel in North America

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, including experience in Supply & Inventory Planning, Production Planning and Vendor Forecasting
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail
• Proven ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing plants and Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience with Kinaxis, SAP or equivalent systems
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
