Overview

As Customer Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of software-focused projects within the domains of energy distribution (e.g., PME, SCADA) and industrial automation for customers.

You will lead multiple projects in parallel, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. While the primary focus is on software implementation, the role also offers the opportunity to gain exposure to equipment and hardware-related project scopes, enabling you to broaden your technical and managerial perspective.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects in the fields of software implementation, energy distribution systems, and industrial automation
  • Be the face of Schneider Electric commercial organization towards customers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders alike
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and project requirements
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports
  • Coordinate activities of internal teams, engineering experts, and external subcontractors
  • Monitor project performance against budget, timeline, and quality targets
  • Identify and manage project risks, deviations, and change requests
  • Support project financials, including forecasting, cost follow-up, and variation management
  • Ensure correct and timely documentation, including as-built deliverables and closure reports
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material and resource availability
  • Expand knowledge into equipment/hardware project scopes, contributing to broader project portfolios as needed

What you'll bring:
  • Engineering or technical degree preferred (Electrical, Automation, IT, or related fields)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing software implementation or industrial automation projects
  • Proven background in coordinating cross-functional technical teams
  • Experience with PME, SCADA, or similar software systems is a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, scheduling, and risk control
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Native Hungarian language skills, advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
