Customer Project Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Project Manager and lead innovative projects that drive business success! We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who can transform complex technical challenges into seamless project deliverables.

What will you do:

  • Inform customer, management and project team about scope deviations
  • Identifiy and mitigate external claims (define costs and argumentation, prepare claim and negotiate change order) in close collaboration with purchasing and Sales/Tendering
  • Identify opportunities for additional business (define costing, prepare offers and negotiate change order) in close collaboration with purchasing and Sales/Tendering)

3rd Party Supplier (sub supplier) Management
  • Involve purchasing at an early stage of the project
  • Involve qualified subcontractors/partners in a timely manner
  • Lead commercial clarifications with the support of purchasing and procurement
  • Rigorously monitor the performance of the subcontractors/partners, conduct timely escalation (in the event of qualitative shortfalls and problems in cooperation) and, where there are any discrepancies, initiate timely suitable action

Leadership & Communication:
  • Participate in internal project reviews and management information meetings concerning the project status
  • Ensure targeted and full communication within the project team and with stakeholders on an international basis
  • Establish key relationships with all business relevant Stakeholders
  • Regularly listen to others and convey messages in an accurate and effective manner.

Solution Support (except Customer Technical Leader/Manager is part of the Project Team)
  • First point of contact related to technical questions raised by the customer
  • Review technical specification and comments (Approval Back) and validate which points will be incorporated or rejected
  • Create project execution related documents (schedules, ITP, Quality Plan, Vendor Document List, etc.)
  • Close cooperation with Customer Project Technical Leaders/Managers

Secondary Duties:-
  • Support, train and coach new team members based on ETO CPP
  • Supporting the sales/tendering team during the tendering phase
  • Travelling for a maximum of 20% (Depending on projects)


What will make you successful:
    • Electrical Engineering Degree
    • PMP certificate is a plus
    • More than 5 years in the electrical industry
    • More than 3 years of project management experience, in systems / equipment business
    • UPS knowledge will be an added advantage
    • Experience in the O&G Industry
