Customer Advocate Engineer
Customer Quality Specialist
📍 Location: Zalaegerszeg (fully onsite)
Reports to: Krisztina Konrád, Quality Manager
Why This Role Matters
We're looking for a strong communicator and persuasive personality to join our quality team and take ownership of the customer quality experience. This role is critical to driving customer focus across the site and ensuring that customer feedback is not only heard-but acted upon.
You'll be the voice of the customer within the plant, helping us improve processes, prevent recurring issues, and build stronger relationships with our clients. 🔧 What You'll Do
- Manage and resolve customer complaints, especially related to:
- Assembly issues (e.g. screw connections)
- Missing shipments or incorrect deliveries
- Misinterpretations of approved drawings
- Incorrect component installations
- Lead root cause analyses and collaborate with technical teams to prevent future issues.
- Act as a customer advocate within the plant-driving customer focus and experience improvements.
- Collect and prioritize business-critical feedback and translate it into actionable improvement plans.
- Respond to customer feedback with clear, timely, and effective solutions.
- Work closely with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and fast resolution.
- Support the Robustness Program by integrating lessons learned from complaints.
- Collaborate with internal teams to contain, correct, and prevent customer-impacting problems.
🧠 What You Bring
- Technical degree (engineering or related field); quality engineering background is a plus.
- 3-4+ years of experience in a customer-facing quality role, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong experience in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English (B2) and Hungarian-you'll need both to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills.
- A confident, extroverted personality-you'll need to stand your ground with demanding customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, Pareto, Ishikawa).
