C&SP and Lifesciences Segments Offer Manager - Digital Energy Solutions

Yesterday Nashville, TN

Digital Energy Solutions (DE Sol) is the Solutions organization within Schneider Electric's Software & Services Division. It designs, prescribes and delivers integrated digital EcoStruxure™ solutions combining software, systems, products and services to create differentiated value for customers and segments, in close partnership with Digital Energy Software (DE SW).

The role sits within the Systems League, responsible for defining and driving Digital Energy systems value propositions and roadmaps by segment across BMS / EPMS, Room Management Systems (RMS), Power Automation, Microgrid and Energy Flexibility Management Systems, in coordination with DE SW and with DE Solutions hardware, services and lifecycle management leagues.

The Segment Offer Management role focuses on how Digital Energy solutions address Data Centers / C&SP and Life Sciences, with a primary emphasis on Data Centers / C&SP. It brings a systems and offer management perspective to segment needs, translating market trends and customer dynamics into differentiated value propositions. It captures and prioritizes requirements based on inputs from segment teams, Solution Architects and key initiatives (e.g. DCoF), and consolidates & prioritizes them across Digital Energy Solutions (in close synchronization with DE SW for a software-enabled systems approach) to ensure consistency. In parallel, it supports the synchronization of segment-related offer roadmaps execution, shares segment insights with the offer management community to raise awareness and knowledge, and helps align priorities to support the evolution of Digital Energy offers, including in priority customer or strategic-account situations where innovation, standard architectures or selective roadmap adaptation may be required.

Main Responsibilities:

The role will encompass the priorities below, with the relative focus evolving over time as segment needs, customer priorities and the Digital Energy offer portfolio continue to evolve.

  1. Act as the voice of the segment within the DE Solutions offer management community
  • Capture and synthesize Data Centers / C&SP and Life Sciences insights from the ecosystem, translating them into actionable inputs that anchor Digital Energy offer decisions and raise segment fluency across the DE Solutions offer management community, acting as a reference point for segment expertise.

  1. Define segment value propositions for Digital Energy offers
  • Define and maintain clear segment value propositions for Data Centers / C&SP and Life Sciences, articulating how the Digital Energy offer portfolio creates value for these segments from an offer management perspective.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Enablement and Activation teams as a subject-matter expert to translate these value propositions into positioning, messaging and enablement content, with asset development and campaign execution owned by these teams.

  1. Prioritize and integrate segment requirements into offer backlogs

Capture and structure segment requirements at solution level first, balancing short-term opportunities with longer-term architectural shifts, to maintain a comprehensive and forward-looking view of segment needs

Prioritize these requirements against business value, defining clear priorities for Digital Energy offer development and enabling consistent direction across the portfolio

Translate these priorities into coherent inputs to the relevant offer backlogs and roadmaps across Digital Energy Solutions; drive prioritization decisions; arbitrate trade-offs across offers to resolve conflicts; provide segment stakeholders clear visibility on priorities, decisions and planned contributions.

  1. Synchronize and steer segment-related offer roadmaps execution

Identify execution gaps, misalignments or delivery risks across offers.

Drive their resolution by escalating trade-offs, enabling decisions and unblocking execution across offer teams.

  1. Orchestrate segment-related ecosystem engagement

Coordinate Digital Energy offer management participation in key segment interactions and initiatives, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved and the right topics are addressed in a structured and effective way

Act as a primary offer-management counterpart for priority customer and strategic-account discussions when innovation, standard architectures, custom-development requests or roadmap implications require strong systems and portfolio judgment

Profile / Qualifications

Strong understanding of Data Centers / C&SP environments, including customer expectations, key constraints, standard architecture logics and market trends; exposure to Life Sciences is a plus.

Good awareness of Digital Energy offer and system environments, with the ability to think in solution terms across software, systems, products and services topics, without requiring deep expertise in every domain; comfortable operating with offer management teams and in architect- and engineering-driven environments.

Strong business and offer management judgment, able to connect segment needs with customer value, competitive differentiation and portfolio priorities; customer-centric and comfortable in customer-facing discussions when strong offer-management support is needed.

Proven ability to influence across complex stakeholder environments, working effectively with offer management, architects, engineering and commercial teams; able to challenge assumptions, arbitrate trade-offs and support decisions without direct authority.

Excellent synthesis, communication and leadership skills, able to turn complex topics into clear direction and actionable recommendations; typically 8-12 years of experience in Data Centers, critical infrastructure, digital solutions or similarly complex system environments, with a mix of business and technical exposure.

Role will require regional / global travels across the year (up to ~20% of the time).
