# Cooling ETO Senior Engineer

Location : India

Scope : Country / Zone

Mission : Lead the engineering design and technical customization of Cooling solutions for customer projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, Schneider Electric standards, local regulations and execution constraints.

Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from opportunity support and solution definition through detailed engineering, implementation support and project handover.

Key Responsibilities :

-Develop Engineering-To-Order (ETO) Cooling solutions for Data Centers, Buildings, Industrial and Critical Infrastructure applications.

-Produce and validate customized system designs, layouts, technical specifications and engineering documentation.

-Support Sales, Business Development and Solution Architects during opportunity qualification and solution definition stages.

-Ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, serviceability and operational reliability of proposed solutions.

-Drive engineering standardization while balancing project-specific customization requirements.

-Adapt global Cooling solutions to local market requirements, customer specifications and regulatory standards.

-Develop and review:

* Cooling system architectures

* Mechanical layouts

* P\&IDs

* Electrical interfaces

* Control architecture requirements

* Integration requirements with BMS, DCIM and monitoring platforms

* Coordinate with factories, global engineering teams and technology experts to address technical challenges and customer-specific requests.

* Support liquid cooling, precision cooling, containment, chiller, CRAH, CRAC and thermal management applications.

* Participate in technical risk assessments and design reviews.

* Support commissioning, troubleshooting and project execution teams when complex technical issues arise.

* Identify engineering improvements that enhance cost competitiveness, delivery efficiency and solution performance.

* Contribute to retrofit, modernization and EcoFit initiatives by developing technical upgrade solutions for existing installations.

* Ensure engineering documentation supports long-term serviceability and lifecycle management objectives.

Main Accountabilities :

-Technical support for strategic opportunities.

-Retrofit and modernization engineering development.

-Solution reliability and serviceability.

Qualifications & Experience :

-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or related discipline.

-8+ years of experience in Cooling Systems, HVAC, Thermal Management, Data Center Infrastructure or Critical Facilities.

-Experience in ETO environments and customer-specific engineering projects.

-Strong understanding of:

* Precision cooling systems

* Chilled water systems

* Direct expansion systems

* Liquid cooling technologies

* Mechanical system integration

* Control systems

-Experience with engineering tools and design software.

-Knowledge of relevant cooling and data center standards.

-Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.
