What you'll do:

This individual will be responsible for design, develop, testing, and validating electronics and electrical fuses and circuit protection components meeting customer's performance, safety, and environmental requirements

• Design, develop, test, and validate electronics and electrical fuse products, including over voltage and over current protection fuse and fuse assembly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability and cost effectiveness
• Develop and execuet execute compliance and certification meeting customer requirements
• Engineering change management and product life cycle management in accordance with company procedures

Qualifications:

• B.S, or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or rated field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in electronics / electrical fuse and circuit protection design.
• Strong understanding of electrical protection principles, including overcurrent, over voltage, and thermal behavior
• Experience with CAD tools (e.g.Solidworks or Autocad) and lab instrumentation.
• Analyze and interpret component datasheets and technical specifications to select appropriate materials and components, interfacing with vendors.
• Experience with compliance and standards such as AEC-Q200, UL248, IATF 16949, and IEC 60127 to ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of prototyping and testing and knowledge of fuse testing protocols, including ratings, time-current characteristics, and environmental stress testing.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematic, design specifications, test procedures, bill of materials, and reports, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Ability to work independently, collaborating asynchronously with global cross-functional teams, across multiple time zones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
