Consulting Engineering Sales Specialist

In this role, you will partner with leading consulting engineering firms, acting as a trusted advisor who influences project design, expands opportunities, and accelerates the adoption of innovative digital solutions.

What will you do?

As a Consulting Engineering Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth through strategic engagement with consulting engineering firms, expanding Schneider Electric's presence, and influencing specifications at the design stage.

  • Build and deepen trusted advisor relationships with consulting engineers, delivering value through expertise and insight
  • Develop and manage key accounts, aligning technical solutions with customer needs and long-term business objectives
  • Promote and expand adoption of digital solutions (EcoStruxure and connected MV/LV products)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Develop and maintain a strong matrix of internal experts across business units to support complex opportunities
  • Influence and contribute to "Schneider Electric-friendly" project designs and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance, trade-offs, and design options for electrical projects, including budget pricing and layouts
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Schneider Electric products, systems, and solutions
  • Support creation of technical content including presentations, FAQs, and expert materials
  • Deliver engaging technical sessions via webinars or in-person presentations


What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in Electrical Design and Consulting, Power System Design or related work experience
  • Highly enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with aptitude to work independently while also contributing to a geographically diverse team
  • Customer-centered engineering design support
  • Efficiency in managing multiple requests to meet aggressive service level agreement timeframes - Trusted advisor
  • Proven skill in electrical power distribution system design
  • Ability to travel up to 30% mostly within Ontario

The expected pay range is CAD 129,600 - CAD 172,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
