About the Role

The Finance Head Argentina will be responsible for leading the country's financial strategy, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and support for business growth. This role combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and strong business partnering to drive sustainable results.

The position will act as a key partner to the Country President and the local Leadership Team, aligning the financial strategy with Schneider Electric's regional and global priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering

  • Lead the country's financial planning (budget, forecast, and long-term planning).
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Country President and Leadership Team.
  • Drive growth, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with South America's strategic priorities.

Financial Performance & Controlling
  • Oversee country P&L, cash flow, and financial KPIs.
  • Ensure robust financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, proposing action plans.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes.
  • Manage financial, tax, and operational risks.

Operations & Finance Excellence
  • Oversee controlling, accounting, tax, treasury, and reporting functions.
  • Drive efficiency and digitalization of financial processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting to regional and corporate teams.

Team Leadership
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and influence to the Finance team in Argentina (dotted-line reporting).
  • Promote a high-performance, accountability, and collaborative culture.
  • Contribute to building and strengthening a finance talent pipeline aligned with organizational priorities.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate degree (preferred).
  • 10-12+ years of experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in multinational environments and matrix organizations.
  • Strong background in financial planning, controlling, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations (Argentina).
  • Advanced level of English.
