Organization: Direct Procurement - ETO - Global Supply Chain Hub
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Mission
The role is part of the Engineering to Order (ETO) Procurement organization covering the Europe region with 11 plants in total. The role will manage global relationship between Schneider & the suppliers.
The Category Buyer will act as main SPOC of the suppliers under his/her responsibility, leading business continuity, driving strategy, supplier base development and optimization and enhancing digital and sustainable processes with suppliers and their supply chain.
What You'll Do
This role is the key interface with our plants covering procurement activities and suppliers' management:
- Interface with Category Manager to collect ETO specifications, specify the qualification criteria and contribute to the segmentation of the strategy
- Contribute and implement the strategy (SOC) in the cluster perimeter
- Taking the category strategies into account, you will build & drive the category APOP (Annual Procurement Operational Plan) validated by Global Category & plant.
- By cooperating together with Global category & SQLD team you will build the supplier development plan and support its deployment from supplier side
- Negotiate global frame-agreement with " cluster " suppliers
- Initiate and drive breakthrough (make or buy, rebalancing, SBO, innovation...) on the category he/she is managing and follow the advancement
- Develop supplier competitiveness and assess the quality level. React in front of deviations
- Organize lesson learnt per category (multi-supplier approach). Return of Experience on key projects or on ETO dimension
- Secure Supplier competitiveness on the commodity perimeter and the performance on negotiation lever
- Create, manage and tracking all productivity actions in dedicated tool (isave)
- Raise and address "cluster" supplier quality of service and business continuity
- Business Continuity first level for escalation
- Support PPM and Group Manager on SRM strategy (Sponsorship, C2P, Business review)
- Supplier base next generation, supplier selection connected with Category Strategy

What You'll Bring
- Degree in Business studies / Procurement / Supply Chain from a leading educational institution
- Min 5 years' experience in Procurement within an international matrix setting
- Understanding and knowledge of the category, the machined technology
- Experience in shaping strategy, managing suppliers
- Excellent communication and internal/external stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytic skills and understanding of business processes, business acumen
- Ability to navigate in a complex and rapidly changing environment and organization
- Strong negotiation skills, engaging and convincing presence with an eye on achieving our goals
- Excellent presentation skills
- Team cohesion: working towards our common goals and someone other team members can turn to
- Capability of setting priorities, handling multiple tasks
- Ownership mindset and proactive approach of the topics, managing end to end governance
- Ability and eagerness to learn and grow quickly
- Strong Customer focus with an understanding of the Supply chain and Quality process
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
